The staff was amazing!!! The food was unique enough to keep me on my toes of what should I get?!? The hash was THE BEST hash I've had anywhere in the country, thick moist peices of meat that shred easily... the carrots and potatoes added in it made it even better!
Such a great place that serves breakfast all day. Staff is great and we are always willing to sit up at the bar. This is a go to spot that will never disappoint
We've been coming here when visiting what was my first "Home" since it was the "Chickadee" in the early '70s. Now still a wonderful place for breakfast (my preference) which can be ordered the whole day. Their pancakes are divine (ask for real maple syrup if you prefer), and dinner plate size - so be careful ordering! Try one, and get a side of "hash-browns," which are a bowl of melt-in your-mouth browned chunks of potatoes mixed with about equal amounts of (I think) brisket; roasted (or smoked), and tender! Bottomless cups of coffee also. They do have a full menu, all of which is worth trying, and cooked exactly as you want it. You'll be treated like family from the time of your first visit!
Let me say this place is amazing, great food with the best taste and flavors without Salt and Pepper and there Adult beverages are so good!! The chef takes pride in cooking, you can tell the passion in the quality of food the presentation and all the flavors you get while eating. We will be back. Thank you for your hard work and dedication. The wait staff is kind and friendly as well. The music was at a perfect level where you can talk and not have to yell at the person across from you, and the selection of music was appreciated.
First trip here and we were extremely pleased with everything. All of the meals were exceptional. Service was great. The restaurant was very clean and presented very well. We will be back.
Im relieved to find a good breakfast place. Usually im searching around Rumford area n finding nothing good so this place is kinda like finding gold. In the seacoast of southern Maine Ive been spoiled with many good places to eat n meet up with friends but not here. Ive been been looking forward to a good cup of coffee n have not found such until this day at Terry n Maxines.....finally a really good cup of coffee to my liking. My eggs n hash were pretty good too. A little further away from home base but doable for me. I like this place...service n seating were good n comfortable. So happy when a restaurants has cozy booths instead of all tables....so inviting. Thumbs up to Terry n MAxines on this restaurant.
Amazing restaurant experience! would definitely come again, stopped in to take my aunt and uncle out to brunch and had an amazing meal (pancakes are to die for!!) plus the waitress was an absolute sweetheart!! 10/10!!
We’ve been in a half dozen times. The service and food have always been amazing. The only downside is the wait time. Get there early or you WILL end up waiting. It’s always been worth the wait though!
